About the Service

BetaMuncher is an Android app and website that helps users discover open beta programs on Google Play. Every feature ships in every build — there is no paid tier or subscription. Optional tips on Google Play (and external funding links on F-Droid) are voluntary and unlock nothing.

How It Works

The app checks your installed apps against Google Play to detect available beta programs. If you opt in to crowdsource data sharing, anonymous beta status reports are sent to our server and aggregated into a public directory. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data is collected.

Your Responsibilities

• Do not abuse, spam, or overload the BetaMuncher API
• Do not submit falsified or manipulated beta status data
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the service
• Do not use the service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or Google Play's terms

Intellectual Property

The BetaMuncher name, logo, and branding are the property of the BetaMuncher project. App names and package names displayed in the beta directory belong to their respective owners.

Tips & Donations

The Google Play build may offer optional one-time tips through Google Play Billing. Tips are consumable, unlock no features, and confer no entitlement. The F-Droid build may offer external funding links (for example GitHub Sponsors or Ko-fi) instead; Play builds do not include those outbound donation links.

• Play tips are processed by Google Play. Price and taxes are shown before you confirm purchase.
• Tips do not renew and do not create a subscription.
• Refunds for Play purchases follow Google Play's refund policies.

Disclaimer of Warranties

BetaMuncher is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of beta program availability, as this information can change at any time on Google Play. The app relies on publicly accessible Google Play pages and may not always reflect real-time status.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BetaMuncher and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
